About

January 2023 saw the first iteration of our Body/Mind Boost Program.
The program aimed to bring people together to get out and get active while also learning some vital mental health skills designed to prevent a mental health crisis. Combining our existing walking group with indoor soccer, gym sessions, yoga, circuit classes as well as Let's Talk Wellness and Decider Skills.

The group also had a separate connection time every week where they met online to discuss their own feelings and connect with each other outside of the structured program hours.

Our participants have given great feedback about the effectiveness of the program and the positive mental health effects the program has had on them. Many have returned for the second iteration and we look forward to running this program every 13 weeks.
